Sentient Construct

Construct Traits

Sleep Mode: Your character does not "sleep" in the traditional sense. They must remain in a state of lower power usage for 8 hours per day to recharge. In this state, their movement speed is halved and they lose access to any cantrips, spells, or feats.
Capable: Trying and failing to find a scientific reasoning for Halfling luck, your creator made you more reliable in their attempts. You can add an extra 1d4 to any attack roll, ability check, or saving throw. You must add it before the outcome is determined.

Toyling

You were most likely designed as entertainment for someone.
Ability Score Increase: You get +2 to split between [CHA and/or DEX], and -1 to [CON or STR].
Size: Small
Speed: Your base walking speed is 25 feet.

Automaton

You were most likely designed as an assistant for someone.
Ability Score Increase: Pick two stats to add +1 to, or one stat to add +2 to. Pick one stat to subtract by -1.
Size: Medium
Speed: Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

Tank

You were most likely designed with battle or protection in mind.
Ability Score Increase: -1 to [CHA or DEX] and +2 to split between [CON and/or STR].
Size: Large
Speed: Your base walking speed is 40 feet.

Fuel Type

Clockwork: You are powered by springs and wooden gears. You have disadvantage against saving throws from attacks that deal fire damage, but have advantage on DEX saving throws.

Hydraulic: You are powered by a fluid of some sort. You have disadvantage against saving throws from attacks that deal lightning damage, but have advantage on STR saving throws.

Steam: You are powered by the burning of coal in a furnace. You have disadvantage against saving throws from attacks that deal cold damage, but have advantage on CON saving throws.
